As photographers, we all strive to take the best possible shot with your camera. In film days this was enough and the image you took with your camera was what you got in the physical photo, unless you had your own dark room that is.
Nowadays with all the post processing software tools available to you, this is now totally different. Post processing is now a very important tool in any photographer's arsenal. You can turn an amazing photo into a brilliant masterpiece with some careful post processing editing.
The photo that I used in the video below is not the most amazing image, but it just shows you what can be done to the colours, contrast, white balance, exposure, etc. of an image. Below is a photo comparing the before and after of the photo used in the video. Don't you think this made a major difference to the photo?
In this video I'll show you how to enhance your photo's exposure, contrast, white balance (to keep the whites white) and much more. I'll also go a bit into cropping and a quick way to straighten your images with the cropping tool. Straightening of an image can also be done with the transform tool, but that is not a part of this video.
